Family Youth Train for First Hunt

BISC Member Clay Duncan took advantage of the free Shotgun lessons offered at BISC to prepare his sons, Levi and Chase, for their first pheasant hunt.  After three, three hour, sessions on the BISC range with Coach Byron Bush, Levi and Clay had transformed from absolutely new shooters into extremely safe and cable operators of their new 28 Ga shotguns.  It was an absolute pleasure working with Clay, Levi, and Chase.  Their enthusiasm and interest  in the sport was inspiring! Here’s some feedback  from the hunt:

Family Trains for First Hunt“If life is about the journey, then shooting is about the preparation for that very first hunt.  My eleven year old boys, Chase and Levi, have loved every moment of preparation from understanding velocity, gauge and shot of a shell, to stance and safely handling their guns.

 – “We consider ourselves so blessed to have such an incredible shooting lodge right here on the island.”
 –  “We are especially appreciative of all the time you have so generously shared to prepare years of safe shooting ahead.  Fyi, my wife who is not a hunter… even sported some orange.
 – “Thanks again and we look forward to shooting with you again!
